Oops! Wrong thread.

Heh. "Lost" writer. I've been in a writers' room with guys like that. Just geek 'em up on Diet Coke and watch 'em go!

"Have I told you about the French guy?"

It looks like the wheels are starting to come off.

This is terrific. Drop an anvil on their heads is right on.

Anonymous said...

Awesome. Kill em with humor.

Eat me AMPTP troll

Anonymous said...

I've always loved this approach. Grab people's interest through entertainment. Keep fighting the good fight, writers!

Anonymous said...

Looks like the AMPTPANTIES!!! are checking out our blogs tonight.

Okay, so here I sit in the MidWest wondering what can I do to help? I've turned off the TV. Okay, except the news. But I promise I don't watch the commercials!

My dad taught me years ago the importance of not crossing a picket line. I'd be there to picket with you and have a ball doing it, however...midwest, kids in school, blah, blah, blah.

So besides sending pencils, what can I do to help?

Anonymous said...

man cougar lol. That'd take a bite outta the producers

Anonymous said...

Great stuff. This is hilarous. Keep em comin'

Anonymous said...

I'm with make em suffer

Anonymous said...

This is the best you can do??

Hacky writers coming up with hacky pitches.

Stay strong AMPTP!!! Chase these hacks out of town so when this is over I can work with decent talent.

Right studios rule...

By being assholes, you'll bring down the whole industry.

So much anger? I'm not even in the business and I can tell these guys are on the Mogul payroll. Writers, keep the funny videos coming. My favorite is "WGA Strike a Love story" do any of you know who sings that song "Love to see you tonight"?

Anonymous said...

AWFUL...

so this is what you writers do when not striking huh? Hope you come up with better stuff now that you're striking all but 12 hours - not 12 hour days but 12 hour weeks!

the WGA is losing points in my book daily.

Anonymous said...

The WGA has it's own trolls, sent here to discredit the idea that crewpeople have lost their jobs and don't like it. Sent here to discredit the idea that there might have been another way.
It's sorta like the propaganda war of the white supremacists who say that the holocaust never existed.

Yuh, I bet you're not a troll. Why would you put down our striking house if you were one of us.

these writers are just trying to get the message out. what are yuo doing except being a critic and a cynic.

keep strong, keep united.

Hmmm...I'm gonna go on a hunch that you aren't really a writer...or at least not in the WGA. If you were a writer, you would know that the BTL is not in the same union as the WGA.

Just because you're some kid who fantasizes about being a writer some day, doesn't make you a current member of the WGA. Now scoot off to bed. Tomorrow is a school day.

Whoa, what's going on. We've got a massive trolling alert here.

Check out the comments on all the blogs and videos, especially to "Failure to Negotiate".

Guess the AMPTP is out gunning tonight

How dare you use a Man-Cougar?!? This is a blatant rip-off of Spiderman #317 where Kraven the Hunter drank the Potion of Shapeshifting. You guys are nothing but hacks and plageristizers! I am for the AMPTP! I know you say they are big, greedy multimedia conglomerates who suck the lifeblood out of America but I think they are cool! Please watch American Idol this January on Fox.

wait a minute "notapaidtroll"

Are you an occasional showrunner? I hear nerdspeak so I'm thinkin' I've heard that somewhere before.

Damn. Unmasked. I feel like the Flash in issue #125.

On the bright side, it does give me a wonderful opportunity to advertise this site's "nickname" function, by which trolls and non-trolls alike can create amusing and identifying nicknames for themselves just like I did.

Isn't that better than "anonymous."

P.S. I got dibs on "Man-Cougar."

Anonymous said...

I use that function sometimes...to mystify and confuse. It's fun.

Anonymous said...

Gotta admit you trolls are a little conspicuous.

All the anonymous comments one right after another on every posting.

The AMPTP really has to hire more creative writers. Where did they dig you hacks up?. Is this the only writing jobs you could get? Posting inane put downs on blog posts. Or are you just envious of writers in the WGA?

reality check -

Lemme see your drivers license this minute! Your mama named you reality check...is that your claim?
First name reality...last name check.

Nice to meet you reality check...I'm Bull Shit.

Anonymous said...

Reality Check,

Would you like to offer up your real name on the internet? Let me caution you that there are people who might track you down and hurt you if you do. This is....the internet...not a church meeting. "Anonymous" is one of the three options for a reason. Dufus.

Doh! I didn't think so.

Anti-WGA anonymous(es),

If you don't want people to accuse you of being a troll, give your real name when you post a comment.

Otherwise people are just going to keep on assuming "Anonymous" stands for "AMPTA troll" or "Pissy 13 year-old who's too scared to shout at his parents and needs to vent their spleen at someone without risking an real-world confrontation", rather than "Person with an independent point of view" and ignore what you're saying…

Hang on…

What am I saying?

Keep posting as "anonymous". That way we'll all know to skip your comments.

How's this B*%tch? said...

Richard,

I couldn't help but notice that your profile is blocked. If you are so against anonymity, then why block your profile. We still don't know who you are. We don't know what you do, where you live, etc. Even if you tell us, we will just have to take your word for it as we will have no real evidence of who you are. For all we know, your name isn't even Richard Cosgrove. How do we know you from all of the other Richard Cosgroves. So, you see, you are still posting anonymously.

Complaints about anonymous posts are just a diversion from the discussion of the real issues. If posting as "anonymous" was not a valid way to post then it wouldn't be one of the three options given to us by the blogging experts...Blogger. While it's fine to disable anonymouse posts, it's really just a way of saying that you wish to censor dissenting opinions. Censorship is something that I thought writers wanted very badly to protect. This is news!!!
