Blind Item: Please Hold for the Next Available Panicked Mogul

CARE TO GUESS?
Which of five networks is said to have been forced to hire extra people to handle all the calls flooding in from angry fans demanding a fair deal for writers? Our source says an assistant to the CEO of the network's parent company contacted a fan site that posted the CEO's phone number and pleaded, "What do I have to do to get you people to stop this?"

You see, when your business is keeping viewers and advertisers happy, there IS such a thing as bad publicity.

I think I saw a CSI fan blog that had posted Les Moonves' personal secretary's phone number.

So it finally sucks to be a Moonbat at the eye network?

Well ain't that too bad for him.

The point to the fan campaigns is to get everyone back to work and get the creatives fair compensation agreements on downloads, streams and DVDs. Failing that I think the number should stay up. In fact I think we should advertise all the network's numbers more ;-)

Besides we just got a couple of people some jobs rather than sitting back and watching hundreds of people getting fired

Yay us! Go fans!

Way to go Fans! Keep calling every network every day! There is nothing more aggravating than hearing that damn phone over and over again when you are swamped.

Call call call and KEEP THOSE TELEPHONE NUMBERS UP!

Sucks to be Les Moonves assistant right now.

The Criminal Minds Fanatic Blog also has the phone number on their front page.

Those telephone numbers shoul be re-posted here, and also listed on the sidebar, so that they are easily accessable to any fan that comes on this site.

Just my 2 cents....
