Strike TV Workshop Reminder

We wanted to remind you about our seminar this Wednesday, January 9th at the WGA Theater - 135 S. Doheny Dr., Beverly Hills.

Whether you're a writer interested in creating original content for the internet or an industry professional willing to donate your time and effort to our campaign, we think you'll find the afternoon informative, entertaining and hopefully a little inspiring.

The AMPTP would like us to sit around and wait for them. Well, we're tired of waiting. It's time to start doing. On Wednesday afternoon we'll all take that first step together.

The first half of the program will be devoted to panel discussions about monetizing original content for the internet and how writers can maintain ownership of their work in this brave new world. Then, we'll hold a production workshop which will include production basics, a podcasting training session and what we're calling, production "speed dating" - where writers will be able to meet and connect with industry professionals.

Be aware, PARKING IS LIMITED. There are two nearby garages where you can park for $14 a day. Otherwise there is metered and side street parking.

So if you can make it, and you haven't already done so, please RSVP to our e-mail address: wgastriketv@gmail.com.

Hope to see you all there!

- The Strike TV Team

Sorry if this sounds like a silly question - is the workshop limited to just guild members? I assume it is, but if it's not, as an internet content creator, I would love to be able to send someone to attend.

sorry if this also sounds like a silly question, but what time is it tonight? I didn't see a time posted, but I could just be blind. Also wondering if it's limited to guild members. I'm a hopeful, but the seminar sounds beneficial.
