The second day of David Milch's The Idea of the Writer: A Writing Discussion will begin at 2:15pm, an hour later than originally scheduled, to allow people picketing time to get to the WGA Theater.

David Milch (creator "Deadwood," "NYPD Blue") will host a discussion at the Writer's Guild Theater titled "The Idea of the Writer." There is no cover charge for this event and all are welcome on a first come, first serve basis. Limited parking is available at the theater.

This strike is so over, David Milch and Paul Haggis aren't going to make much difference.

Geeez. I had no idea the strike was over. Stupid me. And here I am out on the picket line with groups of people, walking in circles carrying WGA picket signs, everyday thinking we're on strike.
Who knew that it was all over and when did it end?
Did we win?
Man I wish I lived close enough to go. David Milch is a genius.
I saw him speak at two of these sessions and was totally blown away. What a fascinating guy with so much to share with writers about our craft.
I noticed that it was being videotaped, will there be video of the sessions so that I can catch the ones I missed?
