It bolsters my faith in your methods- my belief in your goals remain unquestioned.

If the AMPTP's continued refusal to negotiate in good faith costs me my business, along with everything I have (who am I kidding; everything I have is IN this business), my ire will be aimed at the conglomerates and I will continue to hope that the WGA can wrest a fair deal out of all of this.

Obviously, I would much prefer to NOT lose everything(and I won't, until June, because I spent a year preparing for this), but I think this battle is absolutely justified and timely. Of course, I don't have many of the issues facing homeowners (I rent), caregivers (no relatives) and employers (my co. can't afford employees yet, and I refuse to abuse labor), so I understand that the stress I feel is much-magnified for many.

My heart goes out to all who are suffering from this situation, but I hope that those of us that have or will work for someone else remember that no matter where we end up, our lives are better than they might have been, thanks to the people who fight for fair, proper and safe working conditions.

My faith, patience and good wishes are with you, WGA.4merBTLerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12682748606747530855noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2462026865900537983.post-2978995326678994412008-01-17T12:05:00.000-08:002008-01-17T12:05:00.000-08:00This is slightly unrelated, but the real chumps in...This is slightly unrelated, but the real chumps in the strike appear to be CBS, ABC and NBC... according to TVWeek, Fox has already sealed the ratings win for the TV season with Idol... and thanks to the strike hindered programming on the other networks. Any chance Murdoch and Chernin more than a little thrilled that the other studios have handed them all the money?

http://www.tvweek.com/blogs/james-hibberd/2008/01/fox_in_first_place_for_season.phpAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04205452291189248467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2462026865900537983.post-10510888552435135902008-01-17T11:53:00.000-08:002008-01-17T11:53:00.000-08:00It will be very interesting to see how the Republi...It will be very interesting to see how the Republican appointed NLRB will respond to these allegations.

I think the WGA will need some luck to pull that one off. But let's hope it comes through.jimmyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09996799501347272328noreply@blogger.com
